Helping Teens Manage Anger

Training to Help Teens Manage Anger And Resolve Conflicts Peacefully: P.E.A.C.E. Inc.

Dave Wolffe
Founder and Program Coordinator

Dave Wolffe has developed an anger management program that he has used with over 1,000 high school students and well over 600 parents, educators and other individuals who are concerned with youth. He has developed and facilitated violence prevention workshops based on this program for New York City area Teacher Education college programs, has worked with mediators in this area, and has also created a facilitator training method for this anger management work. Most recently Dave has written a book entitled, Peace: The Other Side of Anger, for parents, educators, social workers and others who work with youngsters to help them understand anger in teens and help empower young people to express this emotion without hurting themselves or others.

He is a certified as a Peer Mediation Specialist from the International Center for Conflict Resolution of Columbia University Teachers College. This training enabled him to teach high school students to facilitate peer mediation sessions with other students. During this experience he and many of these young people helped to establish, facilitate and participate in school wide and borough wide violence prevention programs. Dave is also certified as a mediator by Westchester Mediation of Cluster, located in Yonkers, N.Y.


Olumese Logan
Facilitator/Consultant

Olumese Logan is a training and consulting specialist with expertise in leadership, team, and organization development for more than 20 years where he has worked in diverse social and business settings. His clients have included, various New York State agencies, religious organizations, nonprofit organizations, mental health organizations, community service centers, social workers, counselors, day care centers and educational institutions. In addition, he is presently an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College, teaching a course in dispute resolution.

Mr. Logan services clients with customized and highly interactive workshops designed to furnish them with new interpersonal skills and tools to manage the real challenges facing individuals and organizations. Among these areas of concern are, communication, leadership, team-building, team dynamics and anger and conflict management. As a member of the P.E.A.C.E. (Peace Enhancement Attained-Collaborative Efforts) Inc. team he has been trained as facilitator of the Anger Management Power (A.M.P.) Program. His goal in this area is to reach as many people as he can with ideas on managing this emotion in positive ways.

Olumese Logan facilitates new skills development programs for people that he believes can significantly impact their level of happiness in relationships, the workplace, and in almost all aspects of life.
